This policy explains how Perpact Ltd ("Perpact", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit our website or engage us for services. We are the data controller for the information described here. We handle personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• Information you give us — your name, email, phone number, company and the details of your enquiry when you use our contact form or email us.
• Client project data — information provided to us in the course of delivering a project, handled under the terms of the relevant client agreement.
• Technical data — basic analytics such as pages visited and approximate location, collected through the cookies described in our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To respond to enquiries and provide quotes — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract.
• To deliver and support the services you engage us for — on the basis of our contract with you.
• To improve our website and understand how it is used — on the basis of your consent, and our legitimate interest in running our business.
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including accounting and tax records.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from your last contact unless you become a client. Client and financial records are retained for as long as we are required to keep them under Irish law, typically six years. We delete or anonymise personal data once it is no longer needed for these purposes.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — for example our email, hosting and analytics providers — under written agreements that require them to protect it. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard. Most of our processing takes place within the EU/EEA.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email privacy@perpact.ie. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) if you believe we have handled your data unlawfully.

Security

We are ISO 27001 certified and apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we hold, including access controls, encryption in transit, and regular review. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting client and enquirer data is central to how we operate.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy periodically and will update the "last reviewed" date above when we make changes. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be notified where appropriate.
